Holding your Emergency Communications Center to a high standard isn’t just a point of pride – it also ensures your community is receiving a consistent, high level of care, no matter who is calling. QPR provides support in implementing an effective, structured QA Program backed by the International Academies of Emergency Dispatchers (IAED). Priority Dispatch ED-Qs – certified by the IAED – can handle or augment your case review and quality assurance needs, freeing up your internal QA staff to focus on improving the performance of your Emergency Dispatchers.
QPR is also often used by agencies to help achieve Accredited Center of Excellence (ACE) status. Agencies that reach ACE status enjoy a broad range of benefits from assistance with litigation and liability management to better recruitment and retention rates.
QPR was designed to offer comprehensive QA services tailored to your agency’s QA program and budget. Whatever your team needs, our team has a service to take care of you.
Our IAED-certified ED-Qs take on your Case Review so your QAU can focus on what they're best at.

The detailed reports from QPR have freed me up to meet weekly with each dispatcher and make QA more of a people-driven area. I have a chance to give one-on-one praise and show them data of areas we need to focus on, and we see real improvement.
Our QPR analyst helped us have meetings with numerous stakeholders and explain why we should be shooting for ACE standards. This helped take away some of the mystery and concern and we're going to be pursuing medical ACE this year.
When multiple chest pain calls are each processed differently, we can ask our QPR team of experts for their opinions. QPR is vital to our successes and the wonderful teachable moments that come with the call review process.

Request a DemoAll cases are reviewed no more than 72 hours after the conclusion of the QPR Week. Once your agency is notified that the cases are completed, we highly encourage the feedback time recommended for the associated compliance levels listed in the IAED Performance Standards.
All calls are reviewed by a Priority Dispatch ED-Q that is fluent in that language. If we do not have a contractor that is fluent in the foreign language spoken, we will not complete the review for that case and notify your agency.
Yes. Every agency has different, unique areas that need improvement. Focused Reviews can be customized to any specific criteria your agency requests to close any gaps in perfomance.
We analyze data each week (or month depending on call volume) and provide a comprehensive performance report. This data combined with internal needs will help us recommend CDEs or other educational resources.
In the event QPR reviews a case and your agency does not agree with the review, we have a process in which you can appeal the case for a second assessment.
Becoming accredited depends on many factors, including support from management, time being given to work on the project, and communication with Emergency Dispatchers. A typical timeline is around 18 months. When QPR resources are used to their fullest, your agency could see compliance increase at a steady rate until it meets ACE levels.
