Hello!
We're excited to announce the release of Police Priority Dispatch System™ v6.3.11 (1/22/2021) with this ProQA® v5.1.1.39 release. We've highlighted key updates and improvements below.
Of significant importance in PPDS® v6.3 are the very timely changes we've made to the Mental Disorder and Suicidal Person Protocols.
At the link below you can request the software download, release letter, and PPDS v6.3.11 Update Guide that will walk you through the changes. Also be sure to view the PPDS v6.3.11 Update Tutorial on the College for 30 minutes of CDE (see below).
Be sure to log into the College and take the PPDS v6.3 Protocol Update CDE. You'll be an expert on this new version and earn 30 minutes of CDE credit as well!
CRITICAL: AQUA® v7.1.0.3 or lower cannot currently support imports for PPDS v6.3. If your agency will be moving to PPDS v6.3, please contact PDC Software Support to assist you in making necessary adjustments. The next AQUA release (estimated March 2nd) will include the ability to import PPDS v6.3 automatically.
BEFORE UPDATING: Your agency is required to review this video which outlines the significant changes made in MPDS® v13.3.190 (1/29/2021) to the Advanced Compressions Monitor to improve its function and usability, including Mouth-To-Mouth, Mouth-To-Stoma, and Evaluate Breathing instructions inside the tool itself.
