That day, at about 3:36 PM, the Dover Police Department received word of a distressed ship off the coast of England from a caller in Albania. While the caller meant to alert authorities in Dover, England, they mistakenly called the Dover, DE agency in the United States.

Statement on Mpox (Monkeypox) from the International Academies of Emergency Dispatch (IAED)

The IAED encourages all MPDS-user agencies to seek specific direction from their system medical director (or medical control authority) as to the manner and timing for using the Mpox screening tool contained in the Medical Priority Dispatch System. National, state, provincial, and local health departments are also useful sources of information on when and if any of these disease screening Tools are necessary for dispatch use.
