ProQA COVID-19 Special Release

Hello,

This ProQA® COVID-19 Special Release with additional ProQA enhancements is to
support you and your communities around the world in this critical and unprecedented
time. This update is designed to be an efficient upgrade that should take minimal time,
depending upon your CAD interface.

• For MPDS® , key elements of this ProQA COVID-19 Special Relea ProQA COVID-19 Special Release are outlined se below.
• For FPDS® and PPDS® , the new COVID-19-Specific EIDS Tool COVID-19-Specific EIDS Tool has been added to identify symptoms related to COVID-19.

REQUEST ProQA COVID-19 SPECIAL RELEASE

New COVID-19 Enhancements in MPDS® v13.3

Protocol 26:

• Determinant Code 26-A-12 "Coronavirus illness (suspected)" changed back to "Possible meningitis."
• New Suffix "C = Suspected coronavirus illness" added (question may be disabled in Admin).

Protocol 36:

• Entire protocol now refers to "flulike" symptoms and diseases rather than just "flu."
• Separate KQ pathway created for COVID-19, old suffixes updated to be COVID-19 specific, new suffixes created for other disease outbreaks, and AI sections have been updated for COVID-19.

Protocols 6, 10, 13, & 26:

Added the ability to auto-launch the EIDS Tool if the KQ is enabled.

Protocols C, Yc:

• Wording changes have been made to accomplish breathing evaluation in compliance with the new COVID-19-specific resuscitation guidelines that recommend not placing the rescuer's face next to the patient's face to evaluate breathing.
