Updated ProQA “Fast Track” gets Hands-on-Chest CPR started immediately to increase OHCA survival rates!

For a patient with cardiac or breathing problems, the Medical Priority Dispatch System (MPDS) v13.0 introduces a new Fast Track element that dramatically increases survivability rates. Survival of out-of-hospital cardiac arrest decreases by 10 percent for every minute treatment is delayed. Precious time can be wasted trying to confirm that a patient is not breathing. Moving as quickly as possible to provide MPDS compressions-only CPR Pre-Arrival Instructions (PAIs) to the caller in these situations is a game changer. Remember, “Breathing? If they don’t say ‘Yes’, you must compress!”
